Glen Moriston to Plodda – **bus walk** £16 for bus payable in advance

We convene at the car park for Plodda falls (a popular destination, so unless you have a full car, please consider meeting at UHI to maximise car sharing). A coach has been arranged to tranport us to the start of the walk at Dundreggan (journey approx 1hr). We follow the signposted Right of Way, initially through birchwood (pausing to look at the Preacher’s Footprints) then on good quality track with a steady upward gradient. There are panoramic views to the west throughout the walk. The route reaches it’s highest point alongside Loch na Beinne Baine, then drops towards Guisachan Forest as Glen Affric opens in front of us.On reaching the car park, those who have the legs for an additional mile can leave their rucksacks and take a scenic loop to view the Falls (220 feet descent).
*Despite the ascent, this walk is graded “B” to reflect largely comfortable gradients and good track. The additional ascent on the optional Falls loop makes it an “A”
