This message exactly the same as the one I sent earlier tonight – except this time, if you reply to the email, it should come to me directly. Bear with me please, while I get used to the new system – George.

Call for walks

Dave Bradwell has asked me to pass this message on:

“With the current walk programme running out at the end of October, it’s time to submit walks for the Winter session which runs until end of April.  I would like these by 9th October, please.
If the dates you can lead your walk are restricted please submit early so I don’t have to re-arrange large chunks of the document just when I think it’s finished.  Alternatively, at least warn me well in advance of suitable dates which might even include Saturday/Sunday preference as time marches by.”

For Dave’s convenience – and mine – please use the walk proposal form (you’ll also find a link to this at the bottom of the Leaders page on the website). If you really can’t use this, send as an email to me copied to Dave.

The Club appreciates the efforts of all our leaders past and present – without you there wouldn’t any walks. Submissions from old hands are always welcome, but we also need new leaders to step forward. You will find that many established members and leaders will be happy to advise, and even join you on pre-walks.

GGWC Calendar

As recently became apparent, advertising something for purchase via email creates big problems, so I choose my words carefully. The Calendars are of high quality, and represent excellent value at seven pounds and fifty pence each (stout card envelope incuded). The layout of this message to all members is slightly different from previous messages: this is the new normal.
